The state enterprise "Belorusneft-Neftehimproekt" has been participating in the annual Republican contest "For the best achievement in the construction industry of the Republic of Belarus" for the third year, and this year it became the winner in the nomination "Technology of the Year" for the second time.
The results were announced on May 19, 2022 in a solemn ceremony by the organizers of the competition, including the Ministry of Architecture and Construction of the Republic of Belarus, the Union of Builders and the Republican Committee of the Belarusian Trade Union of Construction Workers and the Construction Materials Industry.
The project submitted for the competition "Integrated BIM modeling of public facilities (on the example of refueling station No. 41 Slutsk district, in the village Vasilinki, Republic of Belarus)". The value of this advanced technology – BIM modeling - is to increase the efficiency of interaction between all participants in the process at the design, construction and operation stages. This leads to the automation of the most time-consuming processes for calculating design indicators and allows you to give a more accurate estimate of the cost of construction, as well as contributes to the full control of the implementation of each stage of the construction of the object.
The peculiarity of the approach of the state enterprise "Belorusneft-Neftehimproekt" is the COMPLEXITY. This means that all sections of the design are made using information modeling technologies. This approach allows for the circulation of information between sections without loss and duplication.
The economic effect of the introduction of BIM technologies is achieved by reducing the design and construction time of the facility, reducing the cost of construction due to better, complete and consistent documentation with a minimum number of collisions and errors, its presentation in 3D format, availability of information and the possibility of simultaneous work of stakeholders in the project.
The victory in the competition is the result of regular painstaking work, gradual steps to develop all processes related to BIM modeling, continuous professional development of employees and interaction with software developers in order to develop BIM technology that contributes to the digitalization of the construction industry at the national level.
