The need to learn and the ability to teach – as a sign of the quality of a progressive team

The state enterprise "Belorusneft-Neftehimproekt" pays great attention to the continuous training of employees. An important factor in this process is the personal desire and need for training of the employees themselves. The usual methods maintain the quality of the company's products at a high level, but there is no limit to perfection – you can always improve your skills for more efficient work and gain knowledge that goes beyond the usual actions.

Some employees with an advanced level of proficiency in tools for working with CAD programs turned out to be ready not only to use them in their work, but also to share their accumulated knowledge and skills with their colleagues.

 

thanks to this, the idea of conducting internal on-the-job training of employees was born. For several months, the deputy head of the Architectural and Design Department, Yuri Doroshenko, and the design engineer of the General Plans Department, Alexander Sukharevsky, trained groups of employees in advanced ways of working in CAD programs. As part of the training, issues specific to each department were raised in different groups, general issues of interaction were also considered, which made it possible to increase the consistency of processes and discuss ways and opportunities to cope with increasingly complex production tasks in a familiar CAD environment.

Internal technical training allows not only to improve work performance skills and increase the competence of team members, but also to introduce new design standards – to bring project drawings to uniformity, to introduce new tools and capabilities (for example, automatic filling of stamps using the attribute synchronization tool of the Vitro-CAD engineering data management system).

Staff training is one of the most important business processes of any modern company. Achieving success and strategic goals directly depends on competently trained specialists. Such employees begin to work more efficiently, make fewer mistakes and adapt faster to changing requirements. When training is conducted by colleagues with practical experience and advanced work skills, it is more effective, since it allows trainees to obtain specific knowledge that has a specific need.

Employees' interest in training and willingness to share experience and knowledge with colleagues is a sign of a qualified, efficient team. The purpose of training for employees is to strive for professional growth, preservation and improvement of their own qualifications.

Systematic work on knowledge management in the state enterprise "Belorusneft-Neftehimproekt" is due to the development of new technologies and the acceleration of their implementation in practice, as well as the need for the organization to receive high returns from staff and increase work efficiency. The result is the formation of a common information field, full integration of personnel into production processes, maintaining a given level of product quality, reducing errors in work and introducing innovations.
